Breaded Tilapia

2 tilapia fillets
1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 cup flour
1-2 eggs
2 tbsp lemon juice
salt/pepper
Olive oil cooking spray <---------- I used butter with olive oil.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

-Combine crumbs, parmesan and garlic/onion powder on a plate, mix well.

-On another plate put flour

-In a third bowl, beat eggs with a bit of salt.

-Take thawed tilapia and dredge in the flour, then in the egg , and finally coat with crumb mix.

- Fry in pan for a few minutes on each side until breading is golden Sprinkle it with some lime juice, if you'd like at this time. Some people prefer to do that afterwards. I do it both times!

- Place in oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, until fish inside is flaky.

Top with tartar sauce or any other sauce you like for you fish. I put a dollop of Cilantro Garlic Aioli (click for recipe)

This was so delicious. Just looking at the picture makes me want to make it again!
